I enrolled today and I am completely new to the industry but I have a great desire to know this new world of rapid prototyping (print 3d,laser cutter etc...).

I am thinking of opening a new activity of this kind but I need help to understand what kind of phenomenon it is.

my idea would be either to open a new complete activity or to add it to the current production of the company: we are manufacturers of roof lattonery, gas central doors, water and heating and fire-fighting.
according to you which activity could be possible to add with this kind of tools to my company?
Is it a zero activity?
