Bye to all,
I have recently installed autocad 2009 but opens the dwg files in read-only, and therefore does not make me make any changes!
Did it happen to any of you? Tell me there is a solution please!
thanks in advance.

You didn't show up in the special section, did you?

Anyway. Are you sure the files aren't read-only?[Tasto destro / proprietà / generale / sola lettura] What do you mean?

I signed up for the racing forum but now I'm going to write something to introduce myself!
cmq I had already checked, the only reading came out!

I think I've explained badly, or cmq was a misunderstanding,
next to the voice "only reading" there is no v!
should already be corrected so...

maybe then the file is already open from someone else on the net?

try to make a copy from another side and open the copy.

Try also to open in read alone and do "save by name", and see if it gives you errors.

perfect...by making a copy of the files I open them normally and can change them!
Thank you very much

then the file is blocked.

or is on the net, or the handlers are stuck. in this case you should solve even only by restarting the pc.

alternatively there is the unlocker program [http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/] which effectively unlocks file handlers. always works unless they are blocked by threads to greater priority, such as system ones.

probably modified the variable writestatfrom the online guide:determines whether a drawing file is read-only or can be modified.
this variable is useful for developers who have to determine the writing status of a design by autolisp.
0 it is not possible to write on the drawing
1 you can write about drawing

writestat is a read-only variable, you cannot change
tells you only if the open file is read-only or not
