Bye to all,
a colleague sent me a file created with autocad map3d 2017 but I can't open it from my 2016 autocad.

after a few minutes I still don't see it.. .

You know what it can be?

Thank you!

there are data that autocad map 3d creates and uses that are not available on autocad 'vanilla'. export from your colleague map3d card to dwg autocad

thanks tristan

just sent me the export
before sending me she tried to open her leui and told me she lost so much definition

Do you understand?

that at the same zoom, the image of the orthophoto exported by map3d and opened on autocad "vanilla" is much less defined (almost "sfought")

much sharper the original image opened on map3d

I can't answer

But do you think we can optimize export or do I have to keep it like this?

I don't know if that's what you mean but:

the initial format of the orthophoto is tif

then imported into map3d

nothing if it is inserted as xref, but given the quality drop and especially the fact that you still see the orthophoto, I have as the impression that it has passed the dwg with an ole image

Arabic:redface:

If you tell me how to do to give me an export (or other) correct I pass the procedure paro paro (even because I believe that if you used this object ole probably it was not wanted... :hahahahahah:)

By the way, I now realized that if I put the cursor on the dwg tab (created with map3d) it shows me 3 windows:

one with dwg preview (model)
2 blank (layout1 and layout2)

but I don't charge the model

so I see the dwg created with map2d and opened in "vanilla" preview but not on the page

So it seems that he has everything (and the preview would prove it) but he doesn't want to show it to me...

What am I wrong? What do I do?

Thank you!
