to realize my thesis I must simulate a moving cylinder within a fluid and determine the viscous efforts that are generated on it.
the program I have to use is openfoam. for the realization of the mesh I have no problem. I tried to make some simulations using the oscillatingvelocity library and changing only the vector:operator.
the library was then compiled with the free wmake command but I do not get any result if not a small deformation of the mesh.
the solutore used is icodymfoam if someone has some suggestions I thank him in advance.

I'm also doing the thesis using openfoam. in the first analysis I used snappyhexmesh that you find in the openfoam package, it is not bad

thanks but I solved by compiling the oscyllatyng library velocity and solving the laplacian of speed
