I would be to approach openfoam...since they are very very neophyte, both for what concerns cfd analysis, and for what concerns openfoam, I ask if there is someone on the net able to indicate the best tutorials/guides that are around, possibly those free first, then of the material in paper form to buy.

the site of openfoam is documented. find a very specific user manual (including a valid introduction) and 4 or 5 "base" cases to start.

However, it must be clear that it is a complex path that can take years or months: is not so much software, when matter (cfd) to be a complex field.
