I would like to ask you an opinion on a work proposal I have received.
I am mechanical engineer and I am responsible for quality office in an average company of 200 employees.
He contacted me a much larger company and eventually for the same role they made me their recruitment proposal.
the thing that is making me twist my nose a little bit is that during the negotiation they literally ignored my requests, not even answering questions and sent forward the commitment to hiring as they believed.
to understand us I asked about 1500 euros extra on the ral and asked questions about the presence of any benefits type smart working, company canteen, fuel refund.
Once I rejected the proposal, then they started answering questions and asking me if I wanted to be more important.
What do you think? Am I too bad or is it unprofessional behavior?
If we start so in hiring, I dare not imagine how it is to ask for an increase there....

I don't know how to answer, but by curiosity, did you deal directly with them or with a staff research agency?

That said, given the scarcity of technical figures we're living, I think you won't have any trouble getting satisfied with even more bodily demands. I don't know if it's worth it, it'll be 100 per month.

How much do you recommend how to change? In the end I would go to get the same figure because they recognize me something extra like ral but there is no canteen so I should pay my lunch...

It doesn't seem like a smooth path... As I see it, I would let it go and wait for other opportunities, which you will see will not miss. if you came to refuse their first proposal is because you had some bad feelings; ugly sensations that will not pass just because you will tear a greater increase... At the highest salary you get hired quickly... to work in a place of guano unfortunately not!

the proposal was an increase of 20% on the heral. and the selector confided me (then to understand whether it is true or was a tactic) that it was an effort on their part, because their standard is a rise of 10-15%.

I had accepted but at the end I did not go because my current company proposed the same adjustment to stay.

Now I don't want to deal with you in my pocket, but 1,500 gross euro of increase is really a misery, especially if you go to bring competence in that role, having already done it. If you are already over 35 thousand, with the increase of taxation, you practically take the same figure. .

In the end I refused, they had pushed to a 10% increase, but without any benefits and considering the usual said, you know what you leave but you do not know what you find I preferred not to accept. I think there must be more important reasons to change jobs when you already have one of some importance.

I believe that their initial behavior can be resumed after they hired you.
If you can make all your requests in the contract, then you may consider the offer, but if that is not possible, I would not recommend it.

When a company, already at the first meeting, does not answer your questions, demonstrates little seriousness, now and even after, it just wants to exploit your skills.
if they contacted you and insist, make a stratospheric request, giving him a good reason not to seek you anymore: you do not lose anything but they forgive you.
