optimize a roughing

Good morning to all of you who are reading me,
I've got a quarry degrading from a z=500 to a z= 50.
I choose the strategy "grossing 3d" imposed all the parameters (overmetal toll, step, etc. etc.) but when it shows me the processing, all the lifts makes me to the safety z i.e. 550. My question is, is there a way to avoid that every time he comes out of the piece he gets me up to the security z? . if the quarry is almost horizontal can go well.
but in this specific case the lift times are too long even if it does them quickly.

with the strategy "offset 3d" this problem does not exist, because instead with the strategy "sgrossatura 3d" exists?

I did various tests in the window "wins and junctions" changing the two options on the incremental distance but nothing.:frown:

-pwmill 9
-The cutter to be used is by candle
- the strategy I often use is the constant z strategy i.e. 3d roughness

thanks for the attention

I hope I understand the problem well... .
on the first day of course of powermill explained to me that pmill must be compiled in the way " from left to right"
or:
- definition block
-definition speed movement height
- reset safety heights
-type of quick moviento: choose shaving
try to set pmill in that way and tell me if it's better

Thank you very much for answering me.
while the delay of my answer is due to the various tests I have done without result having already set the pwmill according to your specifications and work commitments.
I have attached 2 photos of the same processing. that "before" where you see that all the ups are at the same security z, and that "after" as I would like to be.
the type of processing is "sgrossing offset "
thanks again to those who want to respond

can you post the file? should come like this with the aprameters I gave you
What version do you use?

have you already tried in "swines and joints" , under the heading of joints, to set "incremental" both for long and short joints ??

bhe, is that a model you can post? ?
Because if you have your model in hand, it would be easier to do tests and give you the final solution, otherwise if we have to give you information a day, it will be a bit long :-)

I posted a model and the crude, the first in .dgk format and the second in .dmt format. of course I had to cut some parts for obvious reasons.
However the pocket to work in roughness is what you see on the model
Thank you for your help.

I will tell you, I also tried last night to do some tests, and actually goes up always in security z (and I use the 2011 version!! )
I still have to do more evidence that I've been thinking, then I'll let you know!

I saw the attached files now.
proceed in qs way:
- import the crude as a block
- create a sgross processing by setting the parameters as I told you (you don't need to calculate it)
- Create a residual raw material
- set toll = 0.1 step .9
- apllica block
- calculated
- now create a sgross setting, however, with the parameters you want et voila!! !
as by magic the game is made.
try and let me know

eeheh

listen to the old.use the residual material and get satisfaction.
to the prox rogna
