Good morning.
I would like to begin a type of top down design, I have been informed these days, but I wanted to explain my method to you because I have doubts and I would like to ask you some delucidations.
1) I open an empty ipt and do a sketch for each component.
2) I carry out the processing of the first component, except the ipt and open a new set.
3) I use the ipt created as the first component and place it in the axieme.
4) for other components in the environment together use creates and then derives, amount the ipt file with all sketches and select only the sketch of the component I am creating. I work on the component I'm creating and I'm going back to the environment together.
5) I repeat point 4 for all components.
6) I put the constraints and conclude the assembling.
Is that the correct procedure? I would also like to be able to create on a single sketch all the assemblies (I come from autocad :d) in order to avoid creating all the sketches and projecting the geometries, I saw that it is possible to create sketch blocks but when the amount loses the quotas and they are completely released, it is possible to use them in this context or have been thought for other needs?
Thank you in advance for the answers!
