hi, "pare" that from the beginning of the year there has been a sudden and unjustified (unless the list has not seen it in the arc zone) increase of the raw materials: in this case I am interested to have a vs. feedback regarding
- black and stainless steel sheet a304
- various profiles in iron (square and round pipes, u, ipe, hea, plates, ...)

I also wondered if there is a site where to follow the sheet and steel profile listings (I found only indications on metals: http://www.kme.com/it/servizi/prezzi_metalli/ )

you can buy in buffets a building price like the engineering bulletin or one of May. Alternatively you can search on the sites of the chambers of commerce (the thousand is always updated but mostly refers to the square of milan) or on sites like edilportale.

on the site of the arcelor there are lists for plates and rods. I don't have the exact address on the pc at home, but it shouldn't be hard to find them.

the lists are enough to know the percentage changes in prices. If the lists increase by a certain percentage, the average market prices will rise more or less by the same percentage. the only problem can be to find old lists.
then the price that is practiced varies very according to the customer and the quantity purchased, also because they change the sales channels. therefore also the average market price can not be very representative.

- the May precept is quarterly and is updated on the basis of market surveys;
- the increases detected by the steel refer to the average prices recorded by the suppliers, there will certainly be shocks but if you go into question any court will do to the values elaborated by the steel of the province in which the dispute occurs.

I also answer to messerschmitt - the average prices of the steel are the only ones that also have a "legal" value. the fact that they are average, is already the possibility that the higher or lower prices of several percentage points can be found individually. the fact that remains is the average value that is also the most likely market.
