in the dsd module the overdraw was introduced, for the counterimbutitura
allego images

hi flavio, I handle sheet metal mold design but I admit my ignorance over-draw.
Would you mind explaining to me wide lines what it is and in this case what does omnicad?!

I try:
the printed piece at the end must have the shape relative to the first image.
Many times it is not possible, because of the stretching of the sheet or the shape, to print it directly then it is decided that some zones will be resumed in successive stages then cover the "nervatures" (overdrow or counterimbutito).

the result has in section the same length of the original.

if I understood correctly, if the piece was printed as well as the first image, there would be obvious many chances that the "nervatures" prevent the scrolling of the sheet causing inevitable breaks, therefore it comes with the technique of the overdraw!!
Is that right? ?
