overall construction and saving .bdl

Hi.
after 6 years that I no longer use osd, a company gave me an osd ver.15 station to start a collaboration.
I press that they too are not able to use it.
I was asked to put in 3d and relative tav.2d some their old designs and I wondered if it is possible to "build" the total 3d and from the parts/groups attach the annotation tables so that when I go to change a piece in total I will be able to update also the tav.2d without loading the single .bdl

the .bdl includes both 3d and 2d
saving in .bdl to recreate the axieme you have to upload every single .bdl file ...

much better to save in .pkg and .mi if you do not have a pdm.

no, the pkg contains all the 3d you see at video, so all the hierarchy of components.

I'd do this to you.

models all 3d in pkg format, when you are finished go to your customer and save it on pdm creating codes and graphics. only after you make the boards, possibly sitting in your client's house so the association between model and table is automatic inside the pdm. This is because otherwise to tell the pdm which table is associated with which model becomes a bit brigorous.

What do pdms use? I'm working for a client from my office, and I'm connected to their pdm over the internet. the situation is indistinguishable from working internally, without prejudice to the complaints due to file transfer, but in the case of the external flow--> company are not very important because they move a few kb at a time. different if you need to load a 3d assembly from the company server, in that case tens of minutyi may be necessary or even hours.
