Good evening,
for the company where I will go to work within a few days (virus permitting...) I'm evaluating the software creo parametric.
I downloaded the trial version to do some tests. my experience is based mainly on 10 years solidworks and autocad. since I will have to make carpenters (as simple as possible) on some tutorials that I found online refer to the bone tool (skeleton) for aafx.
the problem that I have is that following the various stages I find myself having to create a part inside the axieme that should be the bone but in the menu the choice is not available.1587156391045.webpDoes anyone have any idea why? Could it be some configuration parameter?

Thank you.

the skeleton, is available with the license added advanced assembly.
the skeleton has several extra project functions:
- is not considered in the calculation of mass properties, inertia etc. of the assembly,
-allows complex mechanisms without having to immediately study each component of the final mechanism
-allows different configurations together, without having to intervene on the constraints of specific components

if you only need to practice, you can also create a normal part and fix to zero the mass and other properties, it is definitely less efficient and you can not use other properties, but at least you can start modeling.
