iho yes, just give yourself time to prepare libraries on the most used items.
then, always imho, being schematics, the utility of doing them in 3d leaves the time it finds, as if you need the true passage do not make a scheme and controls them with the encumbrances and here is that the 3d comes useful, to make only the scheme, enough and advances the 2d.
hi, I did something a long time ago but with if 17 or 18 but I think the thing is not so different if done with inventor:
- I am drawn all the tubes with trace also the central axis
-for valves, locks, tanks etc. I obtained from 3d the projection on the 3 main floors
-designed everything in 3d
-created isometric table
- Hide all part 3d and shown only axes and sketches
-playing with configurations I extracted all sections of tube of interest
advantages:
-draw once and you have everything on the scale and you can quote it and list bom
-can isolate the various lines
-see any interference that in the filiform scheme is difficult to notice
-3d and any explosions are done in a moment
disadvantages:
You need a big car.
- I took a long time but it was the first time and I had to develop a lot of thighs
hope to have been helpful:smile:
