painted sheet with more colors

to make a project more truthful, and also for a good graphic presentation, and since some single carter will be painted with 2 or more different color areas, I need to color a sheet part and in particular a same surface with different colors, and here comes the problem, because, at least with wf5, I can't do it. when I happen the same problem with a particular not of sheet metal I create of the bottoms of a few cents, so that I am born of new surfaces, but with the sheets I can not do this.
Do you know any procedure or trick?

I do not remember if the wildfire 5 manages the color on the materials, but with this system it would be enough to create the materials with the respective painting and configure at will with family table and similar.
otherwise you make an offset copy of the surfaces of 1 thousandth and color those, an offset copy of surfaces for each color.
for two-tone components, it would be enough to cut and re-adjust the missing surfaces, to color them differently (with different offsets though).
They are a little empirical, but they work.

you have to switch from sheet to standard module, all surface commands should appear.
I recommend that you close in a group the surfaces for colors, to be turned off then for the flat state.

I have made several attempts in this sense before starting this discussion, even because starting from solid and then converting into sheet is the method I prefer, but if the thickness of the piece is not constant, or it does not convert it into sheet metal or in some cases it succeeds, but it is not possible to get the flat state.

I found the method, everything is in the feature sequence:
(1) extrude1
(2) extrude
3) extrude3
4) extrude4
5) coloring surfaces
6) bring the insertion point immediately under extrude 1
7) convert to sheet metal
8) Plan status
9) in the flat state ft remove the extrusion features that are served for colors

if you need to add other surfaces just move the feature first wall below point 4

I didn't know what I wanted to get at first. I opened your .prt and did a test.
Just to understand.
Maybe I still don't know what the result you want to get but by doing a sheet straight to me it allows you to do sketches and color them separately.

Big carminer. excellent solution, I also found the fill command, which I had never used.
to get a graphically better coloring I had to give a thickness of 0.1 to the colored areas, otherwise the color was slightly elevated.
