I x modeling use very much the structural elements, so I automatically generate the distinct materials in which I have the property description I use to define the profile in the drawings.. .this property is easy to use with notes that are connected to the model.. .but if you want to set a design model, with a note at a point of the sheet that is not connected to the model and that you describe the type of profile, this can not do so with the property of the separate cut. I can only if I create an additional property description among the properties of the side file.. .is my question whether there is a way to define a property of the part file that directly recalls the property of the separate?

I think it's a little silly. .
it is assumed that the part has a single body.
for now the solution I found, little elegant but functional, is to insert a separate cut containing the only column of the description. Unfortunately, there is no way to show the only cell of the variable, but there is also that of the column title.
how to connect a file property to a separate cut ownership I have no idea. I'll try to make some effort.

Yes, thank you. in fact if you put a distinct one always remains the title of the column. I also tried to customize the separate table to show only the column I was interested in, but I couldn't. I hope there's a way to connect the two parameters, xché so it would be very comfortable avoiding manually editing the file property.. .

leaving the title might not even be bad, you put us profiled or laminated type for example and under the description, the eye shot and its meaning would be obvious.
for the distinct is simple; each column that you don't care about the selections with the right click, go to the Delete item and choose column. eventually save the template. If you can't separate, I'll turn you around.
if these parts are derived from a multibody, that is, from a welded part you are extrapolating the individual pieces to obtain the development for the production, it is possible to obtain, to the rescue of the body, the properties of the file corresponding to the ownership of the cut-off.

In fact, I believe that doing with the distinct is the only way, the rest is what I always do. for this reason I always create parts as welds, even when I make a simple dish. but in the table of the individual pieces I realized that the description property of the soldering was not appearance and selling the reason, I saw that I forgot to activate the welding command. At this point I thought it would be nice to tie the two properties, so that it is still possible to insert it into the table, one way or another.
If I find out some "truck" I'll tell you...
customization of tables is not a problem, I know how to do it.

to avoid the problem of non-activation of welding I recommend you to do the process in the template so that at the opening of the new part you have already activated the separate cut
