Hello.
I'm jgor and I'm working with sw on the furniture industry.

In the meantime, I apologize, given my first post, if I made something wrong with the "netiquette".

we are evaluating the passage to swood, my question is this (and I think I also have, alas, the answer).

is it not possible to parameterize a mobile without the swood package?

I currently reopen the project and change it "as new", but in fact I have to "reset them by hand", while the holes can recover them.

Can you confirm this impossibility?

Thank you.

I don't know this package, but I did some mobile back time and managed it like all models indiferently whether they are for carpentry, building or anything.
using the references of the various parts, a sketch of layout, euqations and data tables can be parameterized.
try to explain what this package does, what do you mean to parameterize, what you need and what do you mean by this aphrase

What does it mean to change it as new?
How is the project managed? together? multibody part?
bound hardware like?
were references used between the parties?

Thanks for the answer.
then I try to be more precise.

when I make the new project I duplico an old project and renounce it, but little matter, we consider a new project:

the structure of the project is simple:
- general set of subaxis of parts+ferramenta
- parts (with constrained sketches sometimes assulated and sometimes relative) example: do xx 32 step holes up to 80 mm from the top edge.

the mode of construction I prefer to make it "bottom-top" (genero the parts, I do the subassiemi with the hardware, I bind them in the final axieme)

While some problems I can solve with a "top-bottom" construction (example constraints my back to the hips with a formula, the big problem arises from the management of the hardware that does not fit any "outputs/reduction of shelves/ hinges/etc".

the swood package from a sort of "if/else code" and intelligent components that make this "parameterization" practicable in a few clicks. I was wondering if you could "bypass" with a sort of "hoc aid" (pass me the term) .

summarized I only wanted the certainty of my idea, before recommending / not recommending this path.

Thank you.
