Hello, girl.
Give me a tip on how to parameterize a set?

I would like to create some details so that if I change one another it follows...or according to a width of a plan changes the series inside (I made stupid examples not to enter the specific...I already know that you can do with the adactivity but I would like to know if there is a different way... example by table or similar.

I never used it but now that I need it I don't know how to do it. .

until now I have done it using a "guide" part that contains the parameters that interest me; this part is then derived in all parts of the axieme, so that the parameters are "passed". in this way by changing the parameters in the "guide" part you update all parts. the system is good and "robust", in the sense that I never planted the computer by changing the parts. Another possibility is the ilogic, I'm beginning to try it and I think it's very valid also that but you have to "study" more, if you don't know it.

I am going through the use of inventor just for this reason! I can change a whole set using an excel table! :redface:
I see if I can explain myself well, I start from the beginning even if maybe these things you already know.
going to the "manage-parameter" menu of any part or together opens the parameter menu. here you can see the basic parameters that the program has given to every quota or bond you have entered and you can also add parameters with names and formulas chosen by you and insert the values.
once you make this associ to the quotas of the model the name of the desired parameter; going to change the parameter value in the above mentioned menu you will see that the model changes automatically.
Now we pass to the excel, until now I noticed that the program only works on the first spreadsheet and only with a 2xxx cell setting (2 rows per x columns.) in other words in row 1 put the parameter names while in row 2 put the values.
once you insert all your parameters saved and close the file.
returning to the inventor and going to manage parameters you find, at the bottom left of the menu, two keys. one to add custom parameters and the other to add just the excel file! you can bind the part/assieme to the excel file or incorporate the file into the part. disconnect this last option if you manage multiple components with the same file because otherwise you should open each part, open the connected excel file and change it. instead by binding the parts to the excel file you will only have to edit the only excel file to edit them all.
now the game is done and you can manage quotas and constraints directly from an excel file! :
other thing I noticed is that it is better to keep all files connected to the closed excel file otherwise you do not update your quotas. if you happen you simply have to enter the part, open the excel file from the tree menu on the left, close it without changing it (usually it is already updated, but nn I understand why nn you update the model automatically) and update.
