Good afternoon, I'm a mechanical engineer who works for a consulting firm.
I have experience with catia v5 and I am learning to use creo.

I have two parts (sheet format, part1, part2) different and I would like to correlate with relationships the respective lengths.
e.g. I would like to impose on ''relations'': l_part1 = l_part2.

If I go in the delivery window and impose a similar relationship I don't find the l_part2, read only from the delivery window2 and vice versa. How can I run them?

I hope I've been clear.

thanks in advance

I doubt that you can do as described. . .
If you try to write relationships in assembly environment I think it works.
I mean create an asm, insert inside part1, part2 then write the reports.
in general I discourage this as a method, if the two parts must be related maybe I would evaluate the use of family table

Hi, I tried this system but you have to have the license that allows you to do the inheritance.

Part 1
in part 2 insert as it inherits part 1 , create relationships d2 = d1 , create a layer and put part 1 and hide it. when you regenerate part 2 odds become like part 1.

you will probably need to regenerate part 2 every time you make a change to part 1 but the connection is there.
In the end, it doesn't change much with what suggested calacc, but in my case you don't have a third asm file.

Hi.

you can also use a skeleton of axieme with which to command the length of the two parts.. .

not knowing well your purpose I can not tell you more...

There are several possibilities to solve.
I would do it with a layout (notebook), where the parameter must be deviated and then declared (declare)
in part1 and part2 is declared that layout and now all the parameters of the layout are also seen in the part.
