parameters in a set

complaining to my colleague that I can't serialize in 2 directions my colleague pointed out that he doesn't find where to put the parameters in a set. . .
Since I didn't find any post about it (and I think it's weird), I thought I'd ask if we're the ones who don't find it or maybe there's a reason why you can't insert and use parameters in the assemblies.

the usual button with fx as in the environment part.
and then, even if I don't understand the nexus with the parameters, what do you mean you can't serialize in 2 directions?
Maybe you can't hit a series along a direction?

But we don't understand why if we're in work part we find "parameters" in the tool menu and instead if we're all magically gone.

for the series in two directions, yes, I mean, pitch a piece or a workmanship in half of a profile, and I repeat it in both directions a tot of times at a distance x.

the nexus was that the x distance could have been a parameter or a derivation.

what version of inventor you use? I wonder why the symmetrical series of work has already existed since 2010, I think...
instead the series of a component and unidirectional.

You're right, the work does... (I've already done... forgive me.. . )
I was talking about component series.
In this case I was placing a male plate on a profile, and I would have been comfortable to bind it halfway through the profile and serialize it from both sides.

thanks for the link,
a remarkable workaround (now that I also access the parameters together...), but as a user, I would say that they could bang and add the button (clearly I mean they should implement the function)

I don't understand, but do you use the ribbon or the classic toolbars?
because I tried, but both with classic bars and ribbon the fx button is present right in front.. .
with ribbons though, you may not want to have "hidden" the management command group. . .

Yes, we use the normal bar. . .
And... now that you say I see the icon "fx"... we always came from the menu tools (we don't use it often)
