parametric part in solidworks

Hello, I have been using solisdwrks for a while, but I come from other cad. I need to create a part that depends on a parameter. I better explain, I would like to create a part, in which one of the measures depends on a parameter, then when I go to use that part in a set, I go to change that parameter for each individual instance and each instance and the si0 part adjusts.

I'll take an example, let's say I want to draw a tied-up cable, something like this:in a set there may be dozens of instances of this part, but each will have the tape more or less closed according to what it is tightening.

what I would like to do, is to make sure that the internal “circumference” ella band, is a parameter, so that every time I use this part in a set, from time to time I can specify how many millimeters must be the internal circumference to the clamp.

We don't know how practical you are with solid. However the best way is to configure the quota of the circumference

Before using the configurations massively for a variant of this type, evaluate how you will generate the distinct together. configurations can be seen as distinct elements or as a single element.
if in the same set you find yourself with elements configured only to adapt the band and others in which the configurations are production variants, the management will no longer be automatic and you have to see how to do.
