partdesign feature by sheet metal

Hello everyone,
I just started using the sheet metal module and I have a problem, probably also stupid enough to solve
In practice, after drawing a wall with its flange in the sheet metal, I return to partdesign to draw a pocket (or any other feature) but the icons of all features (except sketch and helix) are all disabled. Why did I miss something in the passage between the various modules?

You should add pictures, your steps are confused.

say that you go to the partdesign environment and see only the sketch and propeller that are functions of "wirefreme and surface disign".
I feel like I'm wrong with workbanch.
Also in sheet metal you already find the pocket function, so you don't have to change workbanch.

I am in sheetmetal environment, design a wall with a flange after which I need to use part design features only that, when I return to the part design environment, the only features that appear to me are sketcher and propeller (which is also in part design, not only in surfaces).

when I talk about workbach I refer to the set of configuartions found in the "start" menu.
in the certain "mechanical design" you find workbanch related to mechanical modeling:
part design
sheet metal
wireframe and surface design
ec...

when you open a catpart file you will be loaded the last workbanch used, or through the menu start the loads for example "sheet metal".
in particular in this workbanch before modeling you have to define the parameters of sheet metal, after which you create a sketch that defines the wall, coming out from the sketch environment turns "in the working area", but the workbanch and always the same.
via "start" you can change workbach and if you choose part desegn you can run all the features that you want different from those that can be realized in "sheetmetal".
to understand better but I have to see which active workbanch otherwise you do not go any further (see photo).
