patran 2007 with view

hello to all
I am looking for the thesis to work with "patran 2007" but as it is installed on a car having "view" angry: ) I have problems with the various selections of files.
ie if for example I try to open a database the window looks all gray with therefore great difficulty to select the various files, and this also happens on other windows.

I found some kind of upgrade on the net, but I don't know if that solves the problem.

I had initially solved the problem by installing patran 2008 on view, but as for enchantment from one day to another it doesn't work anymore, or better when I go to launch the program begins initialization and then disappears like by magic without providing any kind of error.

"patran comes up briefly, then disappears with no messages"

"delete the key: hkey_current_user\software\msc.software\patran"
deleting all the pathran registry folder the problem persists, I tried to make a "recover system configuration" since it worked but nothing, I read on the network that the problem can be given by the video drivers ( strange because to me one day it worked and the next day not having installed anything) but I have the latest drivers available.
I don't know how to go on....otherwise I have to find a replacement software that can display the output files of nastran.

I know companies that have installed 2008 with view and have no problem. I've never heard of your problem.
However, op2 can be read with hypermesh and femap.
try uninstalling patran, delete registry keys and reinstall.

I had to renew my nastran license because it was in a "old format" and expired on September 16. I had appeared an error message in the f06 of the run nastran and had to request a new license file to the msc. You probably should do the same thing.

in the meantime that you get the new file you can put the date of the pc before September 16. Then you have to stop the license server, restart it and reread the license.
attention that modifying the system date normally creates a lot of problems to the pc. so do it only in case of need and as long as the msc does not send the new license file.

I'm sorry to thank you for the answer, but if the license comes in time from the msc?? or nn I could have it.. what can I do besides the set of the date? and if qst is the only solution you tell me how I can do it..? a last thing, do you think I would solve the problem with the release 2 of patran 2008??
