Hello everyone, I have a problem in "breaking" shell elements.
I go to utilities->fem elements-> break elements, select the cutting method, the element and the node but I don't see the apply button, so I can't do anything!
somewhere I had read that it is a graphic error of the student edition and that apply was replaceable by pressing the tab button in the last field, but it does not work.
Does anyone know how I could solve this?
Thank you in advance!

I'm afraid the problem is more born from a perfect non-compatibility between operating system and software.
What exactly are you using?

patran is certified for windows 7. I replaced the operating system of the car where I patran to install w7 because with 8.1 I had many problems, since I put w7 all right.
I think you have to do the same thing.
Unfortunately to msc software are not very elastic, and release such software with compatibility to one operating system, more than it is in release. but so much.

I solved my problem, with the self-execute or with the tab+ combination sending in the last field!
thank you very much for the advice;-)
