pc nuovo per nx

Good morning, everyone. I find myself in the situation of having to change my pc, an old notebook, because I have to work on a very heavy set (it is a motor, then on the 100-150 pieces) and my poor 2gb ram not enough to open it.
What do you recommend? I don't want to spend more than 1000soldi. I saw this:

hp pavilion dv6-6170sl

intel® coreTM i7-2630qm processor (2.00ghz, 6mb l3)
hd 500gb - ram 8gb - display 15.6" wide
wi-fi 802.11b/g/n - windows 7 home premium
video card amd radeon 6770m 2gb dedicated

What do you say? Is that enough? or risk spending money and then doesn't open it anyway? ?

In theory as a processor/memory features is not bad, the only doubt could be on the graphics sk, the ates I never tested them.

Neither do I, and I also care a little:confused:. but 2gb dedicated are always 2 gb dedicated .. and many laptops of upper end have only 1 :eek:

I also looked for something with more rams, or at least expandable to more than 8 gb, but it comes to me to cost more than double.. Is it worth it?

to know if it is worth it you should be able to try it with nx.
However with 8gb you shouldn't have problems are 4 times what you have now!

I could only try with a pc from 4 gb of ram: opens the axieme but you can not work because it is too slow. but for the video card I never had chance to try it.. If someone did, give me an opinion:redface:

a packard bell with i5 m430 2.37 ghz .
6gb ram and graphic ati radeon 5470 from 512 mb.

I have installed nx8 to find that it is not so bad.
the graphics hold.

attention, I do not say that I use it to work on it, it is not comparable to a workstation, but for some small thing it defends quite well if we add that it cost less than 500€ .

I posted to give you my feedback on ati graphics.
It should be said that it is practically impossible to know which is the ideal configuration specifically, as far as I am concerned I would never rely on a laptop to work .

I searched a bit on the internet of workstations, always hp, but at equal price with the laptop I mentioned above, or even wanting to spend a little more, have no better features.. and this I will not explain:confused:
maybe spending 2000 € you take a nice workstation..:eek:

My experience is as follows:

1) three-year portable asus with dowel t9400 and 4 gb ram (w7 64 bit pro), geforce card with 1 gb taken to mw spending less than 1000€. I work there and have worked egregiously until 7.5, with the 8 performance of the processors are clearly superior, in fact then I took:
2) of the precision m6600 with i7 16 gb ram 1600 picture card, ssd disk and away for a decidedly higher expense.

I do not say they are comparable but up to version 7.5 with asus you can work discreetly with axioms that contain 200 mb files.

I now use the 7.5, and it is indispensable that the pc can open, and to work, that motor block of 334 pieces, because it is quite urgent.
but in the future maybe I will have to use the later versions, who knows..
However the hp pavilion dv6-6170sl has 8gb of ram and 2gb of video sceda for a price of 800euri.
I can't find any better fix at this figure. . indeed, not even comparable..:cool:
 
bhe, if you have p.iva it would be best to evaluate also the possibility of renting a pc, leasing formula and change it when you need more resources or you have two dollars to invest in more...

the hp has the os. home edition if not mistaken.
I personally recommend anyway.

Of course that with what costs this sw, I don't understand all the problems that arise from the purchase of the pc, it's the side that scares me less! :biggrin:

for those who are planning to install nx8, eye to the drivers with sk nvidia, they give several troubles in drafting during pre-selection/selection (also on 7.5 for truth).
nothing that crashes, but still breaks the boxes, especially the most lazy.
If you happen, try installing certified versions first (and here I want to see you look for those for nx8:biggrin:)), if you don't work different versions.

on a new fujitsu celsius with 2000 picture (desktop), a my client has solved with the v259.70 drivers on win7 64, I am waiting to try on a hp with 4600 picture, just give me the working version veddo to post it.
If someone has other working combinations it would be nice mailboxes.

I have a portable hp of the tube with a hooked gt230m, it is giving problems to me too, unfortunately I do not have time to try other drivers and however it is an uncertified configuration.
