Hello everyone,
I have a pdf within which there is a total 3d that I can rotate and translate, just as if I were in a software cad. I need to open it with sw to make it exploded and tabled components. solidworks tells me it needs adobe illustrator. I installed it, but it keeps not opening the file.
Does anyone know how to extract that geometry from pdf?
Thank you.

I think you can't do this. a pdf 3d serves as a display but there are no information necessary to a cad to make explosions and boards in solidworks.
to make explosions and tables you need natives or files in interchange format 3d such as iges, step, parasolid, acis, etc....

in the properties of pdf you can see thetree model, where in practice I find the whole tree with the various features that I would find in a cad, more deselecting them, disappear from the display, moreover , casually, the root is called "segment_solidworks"!

Do I have to lose hope?
