pdm e vault

Hello everyone, I am new to the field and this morning I interviewed a design office and gave me a trial period. They told me you have to know how to use pdms and I discovered that the inventor pdm management program is vault. I just wanted to ask if any expert could give me a vault introduction so when I treat him at work I'll know what we're talking about. Thanks
