Good morning, did any of you already use the pdm of solidworks 2009?

Do you have any opinions on this?

Thank you.

Hi.

Good morning, everyone!
are gigi... mechanical designer and for a long time use solidworks and related.

The solidworks pdm used it in the company where I worked before and it's a great object!
the only flaw....if you can define it...it is that for the implementation there is a lot of work to do but if you do it well then pdm pays you of the hours spent to make him the base;-)

works very well on the remote, read/modifier/create and revision permissions with the possibility of having admin users who get notifications on any file changes!

It's a great product!

Good day!

Hi.
we use pdmworks enterprise 2008, with excellent results.
of course it is a system that must initially be configured with a considerable expense of hours, but that responds very well.
is a simple system (it is not a real plm, but development is leading it to that direction), implemented practically infinity.
I highly recommend it, but know that your way of working will have to be very rigid within the pdm, in order to be able to take full advantage of the characteristics.
