Hello everyone,
I have a small problem, I have an object designed by me with flat faces but tilted and other faces are "spherical", they ask me to make views in jpg oriented towards faces, someone can tell me how to set views in the faces I have interested?
by the way I have nx 6 in Italian.

you can make customized views with view-operation-save as...you are in the drafting environment in master model mode, "display sheet" button and view the model attached to the table, choose the face according to which you want to orientate your model, selection and then press the f8 button...so the model is oriented according to your selection. ..Finally "view-operationsave as" and save the view...return in drafting mode always with the "display sheet" button and with the "add base view" command enter the customized view. (I don't have nx in Italian as you see:biggrin: )

azzzzz... you're right.... I thought you needed drafting... but not bad.. . then you can do it directly on the model... put on the selection filter the item "face" and select the face in question... button f8 and the model is oriented...view,-operation-save as and save the view... then when you want to call it back in the environment, button dx-orient view-custom view and find the names of the views you save... and then take jpeg

I only have nx 7.5 in English... but you should do the same (I think)

it seems to me that the faces are not parallel/orthagonal to the xyz axes... so
view -> operation -> orient and choose face. puts you orthogonal to the face (f8 ties you orthogonal to xy xz yz plans).
view -> operation -> save as ... and save the view (give him a name to your new view e.g. front, rear, top, ... etc.)
Then
file -> export -> jpeg and there is option to export to white background (if you do not want blue)

if you want to return to one of the views saved later (rename the view to re-export)
view -> layout -> replace view and choose the view you saved before (e.g. front, rear, top, etc.)

you can also not save the views, orient yourself from time to time and export, but if you miss something and want to re-export ... (with background, without background, adding something ... re-export after the changes that ask you etc.)

you have to select a face planar.
seleziona la face, (not the feature, or the solid).

once you have selected the face, pressing f8, the view is directed on the face itself.

dx key on pattern views, - add view.
to change the orientation of the view, you adore with the selection of the face - f8.
