Hello everyone!
in company we have a laser marker that only accepts plt print files.
there is an old license of autocad 2000 and is used only to do this type of print on file.
Since we use other programs daily, from rhino to alias, from powershape to pro/e and many times we export nurbs that autocad 2000 does not accept if not converted into splines or worse in arcs/rects I wanted to know if there was a faster and more effective alternative.
too many clicks, too many export, import and print to do a very trivial thing, not to mention that autocad for license reasons is installed on one old machine and so we have to move from one post to another losing time unnecessarily.
I have seen that there are several plugins for rhinoceros to print in plt but so many and with various licenses to no longer understand anything and risk losing a lot of time.
In practice I would like to ask you if someone of you already knows some plugins or maybe some cad 2d that can replace autocad successfully in this restricted area. If it were free it would be even better so you can install it on all workstations in the office.
Thank you so much!
