4. I did not learn the synchronous environment: (and a purpose of this survey is to understand if I should learn it)
- because I have everything on old versions, and to do the revisions I do first.
I always thought it was an advantage. helps me think and develop according to a logical order.
- in mechanics (unlike modeling) for example a milling is always a milling: can change its path (creating / eliminating faces) and I can control it at best during the revisions with the features (but here depends perhaps on my approach to the program).

4. In the working field, the synchronous environment looks good at using it, because, in my opinion, still uncertain and incomplete.
I think the software is experiencing a transition phase and users are paying the consequences.

My other personal opinion, it was a very great mistake to abandon the old interface in favor of the new so uncoordinated and uncomfortable. a weighted remnants would have been more appropriate.
I think other cads have better interpreted the transition to the new office interface. Solidworks seems to be better organized.
if they had implemented synchronous modeling, without overturning the clean and effective environment to which all of us were accustomed, at this hour I would have already spent some evening in front of the pc to understand more.
Instead as soon as I see the organized environment so badly I get rejection.

- synchronous for changing solids from other cad
(but usually for that use autocad.)

- are two different instruments, both very powerful... in money yes.

of both: If you run on the track it is better the ferrari, if you go to harvest it is better the tractor!

p.s. of course for everyday uses better hope in the possibility to customize the toolbar (rebbon) ... having static is a nightmare !!!

Note:

- does not admit itclassic environment, the update would be an economic-moral drama!:angry:
- st synchronous is too sluggish --> loss of time (personalizing the toolbar is an enterprise.... if you think about moving it from pc to pc as a company standard! oioi)
- advantages in the synchronous so far never found, rather than revolutionizing the 3d could not find a way to better exploit the processors and current resources?
- I can't even imagine the sheet metal of st2 with the same premises as st
- the decision of the next update will be a tough choice.... to evaluate very well
