hi, use inventor 2010 and a client suddenly told me that, having adopted siemens nx 6.0, the files that I produce for them dora then will have to be in that format (*.prt).
I do not know that software but I assume that somehow you can export the part of inventor..
Can anyone give me any suggestions?

the first easiest is to export from inventor to:
step for the 3d or, but I doubt that as export inverntor has parasolid (.x_t ), if so it was better for the 3d.
dwg/dxf for 2d .
Anyway, I'm well received by inventor with the step.

the second, and from how you exposed the request I propose more for this,
is that they want exactly .prt = nx6 files
It is not the first company I feel to adopt such behavior with its suppliers.
The first is to find someone who can serve you for import in nx6 but may not accept the job as it does not have nx 'feature'.
