portate a dwg 3d in step

Sorry to interrupt so in your forum. I use cocreate modeling and I would like to draw an oak tree in 3d; I found it in dwg format on the internet but I can't import it.
would there be someone using autocad so kind to export the dwg file to step or sat so that I can import it too?

are polygonal mesh, do not automatically turn into a solid.
I tried with sats, stp and iges, she won't let me.

thank you the same, I'm not practical with autocad so I didn't exactly understand what it means. when I have a part made of faces that do not make a solid somehow I can make it a solid by adding the missing faces and "close it". However from what I understand it doesn't just let you export the file to a format that you can digest for my 3d.
Anyway, thank you, I'll try to mess with you from the 2d and apologize for the trouble.
