possibility to save in previous formats

I hope this topic goes well for my question, with autocad 2010 you can save the designs so that for example autocad 2005 me open them?
I read that you can do through a program on the official site, which converts the file, only that little program can not install it on win 7 64bit, tells me that it is in comaptibile with my so to 64bit, while having downloaded the program for so to 64bit.
So it works the same if I when I save by name, select that the file must save me for the 2004 autocad version?

with autocad 2010 you can save up to the r12 version of autocad!! ! ! !

the only thing, take into account that some features introduced in the latest versions, with 2004 are not displayed and/or lost its functionality (see dynamic blocks and directors).

that program can serve you for example if you save with autocad 2010 in 2010, and then you want to open that file with an older autocad version, which is not possible.
If, of course, already saved in antecedent format, the problem does not arise.
