They're Easter. I am a mechanical engineer, passionate about solid modeling software. I am currently concerned with the design of euipment for oil wells, in particular on/off valves and regulation cwith the help of solid edge. in my university and school experience I also had the opportunity to use autocad, solidworks, think design, etc.

hello to all my name is anthony I don't know the solid edge program, and I need some advice...for the solid edge st2 program as it is possible to get it or how to download it(free of course).to draw with this program that you experience it is.? my experience is to draw in 3d and 2d with autocad 2008, solid creo in 3d starting from lines that form a closed figure, then the lines turn them into polineee, afterdiche extruse and transfromate into solid, solid cutting with solids and arrival to the desired forms,can generate solids with the method I use starting from autocad 2008 and then use solid lines st2 stend Sorry if I can't explain what I'm looking for, it's the first message I send to the forum, and I would like to thank all those who participate.good work to everyone.

1- when I design a 2d profile of medium complexity (unfortunately, that is not a normal square), I happen not to succeed then to carry out the extrusion/cut. I am told that the profile is "unconnected". How can I circumvent the problem without having to redesign everything? even changing constraints or redesigning the disconnected part, gives me problems.
I know that the description is very generic, but I noticed that it turns out to be one of the most common problems. will be inexperienced

2- Is there a basic tutorial for who is at first? I'm trying to make a circular series, but there's no way. someone who gives me two straights?
