previews of explore resources

Can someone tell me how the previews of the parts are handled in resource exploration?

I would like to "normalize" the previews of explore resources so that they all have the same size. If for example there is a protruding axis in one part, in fact, its preview will consider this protrusion and consequently will be smaller.

is there a way to manage the previews so that they are based only on the extension of the part (without axes, sketches and anything else) and therefore are all at a maximum size in exploring resources?

thanks for the attention.

I admit I never placed the problem, but I have the impression that the preview is created to show the whole figure, automatically from windows. I don't think they're allowed special settings, but the best is the sw explorer preview that shows you the details with appropriate size.

I don't think so.
I tried to zoom in before saving, but the preview does not change. .

I had already opened a discussion on this subject: the reason was that sometimes there is no preview in the windows xp sp3 folders, especially those related to the assemblies.
for the parts, instead, if by chance I have to rename a file or assign to a file the name of a file already created earlier, I happen that as a preview I see the image of the old part and not the current one.
Note that if I copy a set inside the folder with ctrl + drag, the created copy shows the correct preview.... ! !
to today I did not solve the dilemma (and even the assistance did:frown::frown:)
