I did a research, but I didn't find what I'm looking for.

I have a dwg file of the plant planimetry where I work to print on the escape/exodus routes for safety. the frame where it has to be put has special dimensions i.e. 1002x720 and I have the need to print this plan of this size, so that by placing the sheet on the edges of the cartilage I remain 1002x720 mm.

for the sheet there are no problems, the plotter is an a0 for which it holds 1198x841

I never did, and even if I looked at autocad's help, I can't find what I need to set the press. Do you have an idea how this problem can be solved? I use autocad 2009 lt

thanks in advance

I'm looking at the help online at the layout voice but I'm not getting a bat!!!! (Today I'm a hard commuter)

from what I understand I have to set the size of the sheet that from what you see is the sheet of paper of the plotter, in my case a0, (1198x841) after which I select the area of my layout and introduce it to me with a red pane. this area how can I specify to make it dimension with measures 1002x720 within sheet a0?

Thank you for your patience

the folder (or frame as you call it) you need to draw it directly on the layout. then create the windows / windows within the limits of the cart.
in the window display the drawing and set the scale you want.

thanks to the help but I'm just not getting anything, if I put an empty layout and then insert the drawing the measures I find don't make sense and I can't even find where the layout measuring unit is.

-explaining step by step what I do is from the file/model I click dx on the tab and I say new layout.
- going to the layout I find everything on the model, even considering I don't need it.
-select the red pane that is on the layout window and place it exactly on the edges of the cartiglio that I have to plot
-It shows me only the area I need to print inside the sheet.
-I then click dx on the tab in low layout and choose "page settings management", click on change, then choose the plotter, sheet size, print scale I find customized with a value of 0.039. Is this where I have to play to find the size I need?- as I did not make this plan, I find that the measures are put in dm (decimeters) because a long zone of 10.8 meters per cad gives me value 108. How do I behave? Thanks again for the help

per simplification:
- Crei un nuovo layout South which crowns the cartilage (of the real size of 1002x720), which you can delete from the model as there you do not need
- in the new layout you will have a window that "panels" the design, iron or move it by adapting it to the cartiglio
- in the page settings management leaves the value 1:1
- in the window properties, you will find a custom scale, where you set the value you need. e.g.: to have the design in scale 1:100, considering that the planimetry is in dm, imposed as value 1.
