print with incorrect size

I have two printers, the first for sheets a4 and a3. the second is a plotter canon ipf670 with rolls of paper width 60cm approximately. as soon as the plotter was brought there was no problem and so for about the following 18 months.

but for several months I have received the following problem that occurs only if from autocad (version 2004) mold on the plotter canon in format a1.

in this case the drawing is printed in a4, and a sheet is actually cut as large as an a1. Then on a sheet 841x594mm the drawing is only 210x297 large.

the problem does not occur by printing the same file with other software like dwg true view, on the same plotter. printing from autocad works well up to a2 or lower format. no problem on other printer.
using other programs like dwg true view no problem in any format in any printer, idem per pdf reader.

In short, any combination of program + printer in any format, works perfectly. only exception “autocad 2004 + canon ipf670 + sheet a1 format”.

What do you think depends on?

the assistance of the plotter says that for them the plotter works, if the problem is only with autocads are my cabbage since it is an obsolete version. So I didn't get a spider out of the hole with them.

How is the preview?

I found this discussion, see if the problem concerns you.

@mito125 , thanks for the report.
are unreliable, lazy and now even unreliable

the preview comes out correctly.
I doubt a driver problama because if I use dwgtrue view I have no problem.
I think they have not come to a solution.
It makes me strange that the sheet is cut off of the correct size, but only the print has reduced size.

I tried both the layout and window printing with the same results.
with "suitable to sheet" or setting a precise scale does not change anything. I don't know anything strange, what do you think I should check?

I had come to mind that maybe there was something out of paper (a point, an empty block, a blank text....) that increased the extension of the drawing and then printing in extension distorted the representation.
whether by autocad molds in pdf, whether with its integrated printer or with another if you have installed it, how do you see the design?

If I do exactly the same thing with a virtual printer there is no problem.

to get to the result I must first do the virtual print in pdf and then print the pdf. to get to the result I have to add an extra step.
