hi users,

a colleague has a problem with the local.ddb.
I'll explain. local.ddb has reached the capacity of more than 2 gb and fails to check in, ne check out (using intralink) or save the changes made to the pieces, the tables...insomma can not do anything.

the executable ldbcompact does not work because beyond the threshold of 2 gb.
the solution that has been successful with other colleagues was that of the removal of the workspaces, but in fact possible now to fall of the loss of the job.

Experienced solution:
back up the work on disk of everything.
new workspace
the new carry it as new.
the consolidated will be from intralink database
the modified renames, will then be new for the server, take in check-out the details that must be changed and try to report the changes with "special glue" and the redifinition of the references.

However in 2017 use intralink with the limits it has, I see it really risky. . .

Surely if the rules of the pdm are not configured properly, they are more scratching than solutions.
But we are talking about a pdm that is at least 10 years old as conception and water under the bridges has passed many.
