problem added material

Good evening, I'm praying I've been looking into other discussions but I haven't found what you do to my case. I woke up today with the intention of adding materials to the inventor's library. I'm afraid I've done some damage. I deleted from the inventor's library the "generic" material. Now if I do "+" on the icon to add materials I don't get the tab to add the new material, click and nothing happens. Has anyone happened? thanks in advance

If you have deleted files I think you could solve in 3 ways, but I don't know if they can work, so much to begin with you should find someone who has your own version of the program, copy the missing material and put it in your folder, or copy all the folder or folders you have ruined and replace it to yours and last,(most drastic), reinstall the program but don't know if you can repair any damaged files or reinstall the whole program.

material is in styles but also in files. put the project in read/write styles, then create a new file from the model (which will have the generic material), then save the materials of the file in the library. In this way the library will also have the generic.
