problem displaying 3d objects

I just joined the forum and hope to be in the right section.. .
below my question:
I often happen that the layer of a figure in 3d does not take the assigned material and in rendering I see the original color. I tried to give the regenerate command and also rig3d but it does not work. Can someone help me?

Yes I am sure, among other things I noticed that it happens to me when the figure is a little more elaborate than normal, in the same file simple figures accept the material, more complex figures not. I have no idea it's a program problem. .
