problem format .rte

Hello everyone,
I need to expose you a problem, a success to my friend: incorrectly saved the project file in the .rte format instead of the classic .rvt e.. is no longer able to open the project. no more backups available, or better, are all in .rte format. is it possible to return from .rte format to .rvt format?

How do you save "erroneously" in rte?? Anyway, did you try to create a new project starting from .rte x then save everything in rvt?
