problem graphics card with 3ds max

hello to all first with a greeting and with my most live compliments for the forum since I am new.
I'm putting my problem on you because I'm going to be crazy for a year now and I can't find a solution.

the problem is about the ui of 3ds max 2014, but it shows me with some tools also in autocad 2012 and I also had it with 3ds max 2012.
Basically, as from image I attach myself with some bars of corrupt and unusable tools.

I have already tried to reload the bars, to reset as by default, to change here and there the settings on the use of directx rather than opengl, I tried to change here and there the settings of the video card but now after so much time I am giving up.

I have a pc with win7-64, processor 2 quad 2.66ghz and two hd4800 video cards with crossfire installed but not active since my use does not require mega-performances and I prefer to have 4 monitors available.
I know that the pc is not the most recent and I know that the cards are a little old, but despite this both autocad and 3dsmax turn quietly also because my renderings are not stratospheric.

the strange thing is that if from the ati panel skilled the crossfire (losing obviously 2 monitors) the problem disappears and everything works normally. when you disable the crossfire toolbars get corrupt!!!!
so far I use 3ds enabling and disabling every time the crossfire, but you want to draw with the 4 views 1 for each monitor? ?
I hope someone can give me more info or have already found this problem... I don't know what to do anymore. .

...in 3dmax the open gl is highly advised...the problem is that your video card fails to manage for power 4 monitors!!!try to attack us only 1 monitor and try again....in more ' max from 2013 use nitrus that is not in open gl ne direct x!!!se you want to work with 4 monitors and you want an acceptable yield you have a picture or a very powerful ati of first band...quadro kpriv or k4000 idea

I put myself right last night to slew right and left and solved the problem
disabling in windows 7:

system performance -> adjusts visual effects -> active desktop composition

I no longer have the previews of the applications when you go with the mouse on the icons of the bar, but the thing is not that I care a lot, at least I have all the menus and bars of 3ds.

cmq even if my machine and graphics cards are old, in the performance ranking of win 7 I have:

processor 7,2
memory (ram) 7,2
video card 7,3
graphics of games 7,3

the only 6 is primary hard drive which is a nail
