Good morning to all,
I'm just using solidworks and I have a problem I can't fix.
I have to make a revolution cut on a cylinder that has another eccentric cylinder as an axis compared to the first.
I then create an axis on the second cylinder, but then at the time of cutting in revolution, solidworks tells me that the axis is not valid.
how can I perform the processing?
I attach an exemplary image.

the axis of revolution must be created in the sketch itself.
Hi.
may also not be an entity of the same sketch, such as a board, an external axis, or even a line shared by another sketch. As you say, it's on the same floor.
certainly it is more "clean" to do the axis inside the sketch that serves for the function of revolution.
