hi to everyone, it's been a while since I use your forum to seize tricks and tips for autocad but now I have a problem that I don't know how to solve.
work in an engineering study and sometimes it happens to have to turn the dwg files into pdf. In general there are no problems indeed everything goes smoothly using cutepdf. Unfortunately, however, sometimes we have to work with some autocad files that incorporate as external references of very heavy images and when I go to turn the dwg into pdf the files come out "damaged" or the file is there but when you try to open it comes out the error:
" error during page processing. i/o error in the file. "
I tried everything, open a file with dwg trueviwew 2011, I tried with dwg to pdf, I tried to lighten the file with isavepercent. the only solution is to print the file and then scan it but it's not a technique I want to use. another solution is to use a very powerful pc (a quad core with 4gb of ram not enough) then the process goes to good end but also this is an unusable technique.
Is there a remedy?
Thank you.
