problem lines that automatically hook to other entities

Hello.
Excuse the banal question.
While I'm trying to change a design, in autocad 2007, I happen that it doesn't draw any more lines on empty points of the design, but only if you "enter" the existing design through osnap pointers.
What can happen, did I uninadvertently turn on or off something?

I tried to change the opening variable (from 1 to 50) but the problem remains.
I would like to better describe what happens:
- I choose the command "linea"
- select the first point then click with left key
- select the second point cpoi click sx. the line is shown
- click on sending and the line disappears
the only setting I have recently changed is the color of the background (black to white). but then I brought it back as before and the problem arises.
