problem: material application

Hello everyone I am a student of ing.meccanica, use catia v5r18.I have the following problem, when I apply the material on any component, it is not displayed, but it is only displayed if I make a render!How can I view it in working environment?? ? Thank you.

If you look at the horizontal icons below the catia (usually it is there) you should find a group with an airplane ................. in that group there is one with a cylinder and submenu, those allow you to change the display of the part, that with the handles gives you the material applied...................... that with the question point makes you configure what you want.
Try them all, play us a little and you'll figure out what they do.......... :smile:
