hello to everyone!!!!!!! Since 2010 I haven't written anything anymore!!! but it is not a good sign, in the sense that I have not worked in the meantime.... but I just graduated in architecture!
This morning I put myself to make a render for a friend and  I no longer remembered anything!!! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
slowly I resumed my hand with revit, but I had big problems because I was accustomed to revit 2008 and instead now with revit 2011 is all different!!!! but if I didn't understand the interface you can't change so patience, I'm getting used to it so...
we come to problems:

1) then I built my cottage, x the external renders everything ok (for now) but I must also make rooms. then I have a room with a window, and a door to the outside, I tried to make it render but it all came to me dark: I put lamps and now it is no darker but I get a little real light, i.e. the light is warm and yellow and the illuminated breath is also good but the objects do not have real colors seems to me all too gray and dark.... what can I do? how can I do to let the sunlight enter the window and maybe even from the door and make everything brighter?

2) other question is I can't, don't know how to put parquet in the ground? can I put moquet but the wooden parquet possible that is not there?
Besides a wall I want it in stone, but just change the structure of the wall and put on the surface layer stone? ? ?

3) I miss the television and a picture, in the metric library there are no! Do you know where I can download them? please, a site in Italian because with languages are denied:tongue:

Thank you so much friends!! !

Is the window glass transparent? is the door open or closed (or closed)?

depends on which library you are using. in the bookcase autodesk the parquet is there.
for the stone wall yes, you can do so

there are few Italian sites where to download families of revit. try with syncronia.com but in memory there is nothing like this

thank you for the consideration, I realize that I still have to learn so many things.... then:

1- the window glass is now transparent but I can't let the sun's rays in....
2- the door is closed, how do you open it?
3- I only have the autodesk library but I can't find the parquet, can I?
4- I put 4 appliques on the walls, as setting there are 150 watts, are few? Do I have to raise this value to make more diffuse light in the room? or do you need lamps from the attic because the appliques are not enough?
(ps: sorry I realize that my questions are laughing....haimè :frown:)

So, I opened the door and now the sun comes in both the door and the window.
I made a render and now it's all too light and bright! to decrease the intensity of the sun as you do?
I haven't found the parquet yet....

thank you many tristan!
then let's say that now the light seems decently regulated. ....
I have a big problem: I can't put parquet in my metric library, I only have birch wood or other types of wood but I get a uniform floor.... .
and then also the wall that I made in stone is fine, only that the stones are squared and look more from outside. I would need classic stone coverings, a bit more round. . .
I don't know where to go looking for these two things.... could you direct me? ? ? ?
Thank you very much!!! (it is not shouted, er...)

but in the library materials "floors" "wood" do not have parquet? I think it is and that it was one of the most provided. If not you search on google texture parquet and take what you want, the same for the stone.

I apologize for my ignorance in this matter.... I managed to download objects, families for revit, (.rfa) that I found on the internet but I can't find the materials and especially where I put them? How do I apply them?
I don't have the parquet, I have moquet and other types of wood... mahogany, birch... .
Now I keep looking.. . .

then I found the following discussion that I think that's what I need.... the cup
Can you explain me better? Why can't I understand... where do I find the retini? and textures? I have always changed everything only from the property panel and choosing what was already there.
If I found on the internet a taxtur of a floor that I like with ceramic tiles, but this is a jpg image all right? and then where do I put it??? ? I'm freaking out. .

provided that in the revit library, by default, there are both "motives" (retini) of parquet, as well as materials (texture) of wood, you mean that:
Can't you apply a motif (retino) to the floor surface layer?

see the online guide of revit:
- modification of the display properties of a material
- application of a material to an element

or that you do not find a "motive" (retino) that has the shape of the parquet?

see the online guide of revit:
- creation of a custom retino
- change of a retino

or that you cannot apply a rendering material to the floor ( parquet/wood type)?

see the online guide of revit:
- search for a rendering composition
- modification of rendering composition of a material
- alignment of rendering composition to surface pattern
