Good morning to all, I am new to the forum.
I installed solidworks 2020 with windows 10 under parallel 15. Everything works well except when I open a set, it never finds the associated side files, even making a pack&go. I have to manually virtualize all parts of the axieme or save them internally. with windows 7 and solidworks 2013 no problem..... thanks for the help, lorenzo

thanks for your availability. I checked the component properties and the model document path is correct. I have the same problem when I put on the table a drawing of together/part, save it but when I reopen it does not find the assieme/part, it opens only if also the axieme/part is open.
 
I'm afraid the problem is due to the distribution of the hard disk that does parallel to turn windows with mac and solidworks can't find the saved part files in the mac storage disk but only those under windows. sees the mac storage disk as a kind of server or external hard drive. . .

I installed solid under win7 with parallells 9, it makes me the same problem but I can access the mac partition as described in the forum link and solved the problem. strange that with win 10 and parallelsl 15 I can not see the partition as in win 7... both with win7 and win10 if except on external hd/usb everything works well... the mysteries of life.
