problem: set 2d model of solid edge st9 with black background and white lines

Good morning.
I apologize in advance if I had to run in some mistakes, I am not very rash to the forums and I just signed up to cad3d.

I introduce myself: I am a technical designer of a mechanical company and I work mainly with the solid edge software st9 from an connector.
I wanted to kindly ask if someone in the forum had the answer to my following question on the program.

So, does anyone know if you can change the graphic setting of the 2d model of solid edge to have a view similar to that standard of autocad?
I'll explain better. I would like to set a black background and make sure that all lines of sketches and views were white, so as to affect less possible the view during work. I managed to put a black background but all the unselected elements remain black (I found no option to change the color), making it impossible to distinguish anything.

I thank everyone who answers this message.
Good day

Bye. if you go to the settings, in the color item you can set both the 2d model and the sheet with color scheme the autocad model

I don't know this option, is it a global approach?
I had remained that the color of the various lines and styles are stored in every single dft file, so if in the company there is already a large 2d drawing database they would need to be updated all by hand, unless macro they go to replace the styles in each file.

However (to speak personal of one who has worked for years in both ways) working with white background (if you come from autocad experiences) at first may seem annoying, but adjusting well the brightness of the monitor you get used soon and over time becomes completely natural and less tiring than otherwise.

There is a setting that reverses black with white and vice versa, to say the truth I do not remember how it works as it never used.

I agree in everything, all office applications have by default white background.

Good morning.

Meanwhile thank you for the answers!
I confirm that setting as color scheme the autocad model changes only the background, but the lines remain black (which is very little useful).
I deduce that as the apegana user said it is necessary to change the color of the lines of each single draft already present.. which is crazy for the amount of drawings in our database.
I think I have to like the white background.. However, if someone knows this setting that reverses black with the white that be_on_edge spoke of, I would like to know it.

Thanks again =)

It may be that I have relied on the problem unconsciously because I have as color of the lines white/black: using that color, changing the background from black to white and vice versa automatically changes the color of the lines displayed so as to maintain visibility. sin are not set to other color combinations (yellow is not very visible on white)
You should see if with a macro it is possible to replace the style of the lines within the dfts, a little as you can change the mass properties. maybe with a modified version of open/close, which leans on a template.

hi I tell you my using the 2019 version but I think it doesn't change so much.
in the color menu you can set the various colors including the white or black background.
Once this returns to the sheet and select styles in the menu in the top > styles in use > and from them through the edit button you can select the color of the lines quota texts etc. you can choose a specific color or the white/black option. selecting white/black when you have the white sheet you will have the black lines vice versa with the black one
