as you will notice in the image 12 with 10mm distance set in the "surface division" function the profile is not "correct"; with a distance of 4.7mm (images 15 and 16) creates a re-entry (I don't know how to define it, sorry) that must not be there; while with 2mm (picture 14) everything seems fine but later I do not manage the division in matrix and punch. Can you explain why? or simply it is not possible to achieve this form and I must opt for a constant form as in image 9

Hello, Masses

The problemma is about how you want to close in that area, you can't do that, you have to go straight with a ribbed surface.

Good night....
flfn, I think I understand what you meant (spero), I attach the file, if you can take a look.. .
cmq moving forward sw couldn't create closing surfaces automatically...I tried to do it myself, but I ended up in oblivion... until 03:00... now I surrender.
I hope someone will take a look and if it doesn't take too long, it can fix my problem and post the correct file.
thanks again to all
greetings

I took a look at your previous model and that inserted here.
I think you're masochistic.
but how did you think of making fifty surfaces to make the division surface?
This solution is to be rejected.

Here's the file. solidworks 2011 version
I wanted the piece as with 2011 they inserted the possibility to manually manipulate the separation surface.
at present it is not enough to get a beautiful surface.
then you could create different surfaces and put them under the correct folder.
you could make a flat surface using the edges of the piece and a rectangular sketch that stops on the piece.
the other could be a radial and in case it wasn't enough, radial more loft.

I'm not a masochist, just inexperienced. It's practically the first mould I'm trying to make. cmq I decided I go straight with constant section and goodnight. . .

surface lined is a nice command but I have abandoned it, oddio I designed injection molds instead of blowing it would probably be different.
I would have done everything with extruded surfaces from profiles.

do you use the commands of the mold board and create the mold matrices in the same file of the detail?
with any revisions how do you do?

the striped surface does nothing but extrude from the profile according to a direction.

revisions depends on whether you modeled or imported.
if imported there is an option to keep faces and edges that have not changed and you will only have to redefine in the errors you will find.

If you model the plastic piece, it depends on what touches.
if you do not delete or generate new faces/ borders, the management is more than choice than linked to possible errors.
